OOTN 29.12.11

Hiiiiiii everyone,

If you've read my haul blog post I posted earlier, you will see I went shopping with my friends yesterday!

So I went out last night with my bestie, Amber and wore some new items out! I took some pictures for you all to see!

I was only casual as it wasn't a big night out, but I really liked my outfit :)

You can see where my top and bottoms are from in my previous post, the jacket was from New Look last year and my shoes are from Primark about 4 weeks ago.

Here is a couple of pictures from last night...

The quality isn't good, I am waiting for Amber to upload the proper ones from her camera!

Sales Shopping Haul

Hiiiii everyone,

I did some shopping yesterday in Milton Keynes with my friends, just thought I would show you what I picked up!

Unfortunately none of the things I got were in sale, but nevermind!

I also did a video on this today, I will put it at the bottom of this post for you :)

So first, I went to Internacionale. I don't know if they have them all around the country but we have them in a few places in the south.

I picked up this lovely stripy tshirt, I think it was £8.99. It's very flattering on and a very light material.

Also in Internacionale I got these rustic, dark orange coloured jeans. They look different in the pictures than in real life, they are not that red but more auburn. They were £19.99. But I love them because they fit like jeggings, they are stretchy and comfortable and in a lovely colour for this time of year, I can't wait to wear these!

Next I popped into H&M and got a couple of things. I LOVE JEGGINGS! Favourite things to wear on bottom, as they are comfy, and easy to wear with pretty much anything. So I bought 2 pairs :) The first ones were £14.99, and the second ones were £12.99.

And then there was Superdrug.... I only went in to get a foundation and came out with more than what I expected!

I finally picked up Revlon Colourstay foundation in the shade 180 / Sandy Beige. I adore this foundation, I used it for the first time last night, and the second time this morning. It's the best foundation I've ever used, unfortunately you have to pour it out from the bottle as there is no pump, but apart from that I thoroughly recommend this! I believe it was a little over £12.00.

I never usually wear liquid eyeliner, so I only have one, just incase the moment takes me, and I want to wear it! However the other day when I went to look for mine, it had vanished. So whilst in Superdrug, I thought I would pick one up! It's only a cheapy Collection 2000 one, but it does it's job when I need it to! I think it was under £3.00.

And the last things were these 2 sets of nail polishes. Costing only £5.00 per set, I could not say no! They are 8ml and quite dainty, but a good size I think as I swap from colour to colour, they will last a long time. They are such lovely colours too, I don't think there are any colours that I dont like!

I painted them on a colourwheel for you, just in case you wanted to see!

At the moment, I am wearing from the West End Girl collection, the raspberry pink colour.

I have taken the majority of these pictures from my Instagram (Apple App) so if you have an Iphone / Ipad, feel free to follow me, my name is peacelovelipgloss3.

And here is the video for this haul on youtube for you to watch at your leisure!

Christmas Present Haul :)

Hiiii everyone!

So sorry I haven't posted yet this week, it's been manic! However I have a very special post for you today, as I swapped presents with my 3 best friends last week, we do it every year, we go to the pub, take it in turns open all of our presents and have a lovely girly night out! I can definitely say it was a success, we were all spoiled! However I feel especially spoilt as you will see when you look at what I got!

If you would like to see my youtube video on this, it's below!

The first thing I got was a lovely makeup bag with lots of goodies in it, it's blue and floral, like a Cath Kidston print...

Inside this makeup bag I got.....

I love all these little gifts, they are so cute. The Accessorize makeup collection packaging is so pretty, the eyeshadows are really lovely, nice colours and very pigmented. The blusher is very light pink, and looks really amazing on, it really does give me a light pink glow, this is my new favourite blusher! I have never tried Elnett hairspray, seeing as this is a mini can I will keep it in my bag for emergencies! Also can't wait to use the facemask, I will show you what it looks like when I put it on, but I think they are really fun!

Next I got a couple of things for my filofax....

There are some really cure mulicoloured notepaper from Paperchase, I can't express my love for Paperchase enough, I LOVE IT! And I love those highlighters, there is a pink, orange, yellow, green and blue and they all have panda head tops with different expressions on, they are so cute!

Next I got....A PANDORA CHARM!!!

It's a present pandora charm, silver with a gold bow. This is already on my Chamilia bracelet and I love it so much! It was such a thoughtful gift.

Then I got a few other things...

I got a beautiful Kabuki brush, the packaging is really gorgeous, shiny metallic with gold swirly pattern. The brush itself is really soft, I really loved this present. I also got 2 scarves, gorgeous colours and have been wearing them both to death!!

Now for the big amazing prezzies....Where do I start?

The first big present I got was this MAC box, I was so surprised, I could not contain myself! Inside the box was a clear makeup bag, with a large silver circle attached. Inside the makeup bag was 5 MAC makeup brushes. I will list the brushes below...but the most amazing thing about these brushes is that they have clear ends, full of glitter. They are so pretty, couldn't believe that they were mine!

The 5 brushes were, 239SE, 217SE, 212SE, 168SE & 167SE.

Next up is....

How amazing is this? Lady Gaga by Mac 8x eyeshadow palette... I was nearly in tears when I opened this, the colours are neutrals and so shimmery they are amazing! I was so surprised to get this, and I still can't believe it now!

Next there is this...

It's like a Christmas ball from MAC that has 2 pigments in it. I got a pinky pearly colour and a white shimmery colour, the packaging is amazing and I think this is a such a cute, present!

And last but certainly not least!
My favourite present....
The thing you've all seen a million times before but this doesn't stop me from showing it to you, again!

Oh yes, it's the Urban Decay Naked Palette, I have used this everyday for a week and I love it more everytime I use it! It's an amazing palette and as soon as the number 2 comes out in the UK I will be searching high and low for one!

So all in all, I have been spoiled by my amazing friends... I hope you liked everything in this post, i certainly do! Please leave your comments below!

I will be doing another post soon with all of my presents from my parents and grandparents.

Makeup Inspirations....

Hiiiiiii Everyone!!

It's Christmas Eve! Eeeeeeeek! I have had such a lovely day, I walked into town with my boyfriend to do a last little bit of shopping, then we had an awesome roast dinner cooked for us by my boyfriend's housemate, and now I'm sat here blogging!

I can't wait for tomorrow it's going to be such a good day, and on Boxing Day there is going to be such a big blog post of all my Christmas pictures and a haul of everything that I got!

Anyway...

I thought I would do a post on my makeup inspirations, people who I think always have amazing makeup and look flawless and cool.

                                                                  Nicki Minaj

Definately, my most influential makeup inspirations. Nicki always has flawless, colourful, and different makeup. I love how she always has bright lips and mixes bright colours on her eyes, as in the videos "Superbass" & "Bedrock". I think she always looks amazing!

Franki Sandford

Frankie Sandford is ALWAYS my smokey eye envy. She always has an amazing smokey eye, and flawless skin.

Millie Macintosh

I LOVE Millie's makeup, always. She always has a classy, natural look going. She is a makeup artist, so she knows how to look amazing without fail. She has lovely eyelashes like all the time!

These are my top 3 inspirations, I do also love Rihanna, Katy Perry, Vanessa Hudgens etc there are loads!

Let me know who your inspriations are!

Thaks for reading!

Glossybox December 2011 Review

Hiiiii Everyone!

I know I haven't posted all week now I'm posting a few times in one night but I promise I will be more organised from now on!

Anyway, I have had my glossy box for about a week now, so I have tested all of the things I got sent, carry on reading to see what I think!

Also I made a video on this, see below...

1. Bionova Eye Wrinkle Treatment - Utilizes the skin technology based on life science nanotechnology by treating the skin with the same ingredients in the same quantities and ratio naturally produced by a human body. Full size £43.00 GBP.

I don't really think I need to use eye wrinkle treatments as I am only 22! However as this was such a cute little pot and I think I could use it for a couple of weeks, and actually see if it made any difference I gave it a go. I really liked it, it's very silky smooth and it does make me look brighter under the eyes. For £43.00 I don't think I would buy a full size, however it was nice to get a sample and try it out!

2. Blink & Go Eyeshadow & Blush Palette - Blink & Go makeup is the ultimate effect for eyes. Take your style to a dizzy height with maximum colour and a perfect silk texture and finish. Full size £14.95 GBP.

I think this is a such a cute eyeshadow palette. Unfortunately as you can see the pink eyeshadow was cracked (I think this happened in transit!) so I could not lift up the top to show you the blushes or the pink would go everywhere! The blush colours are lovely also! These colours are so pigmented, I love these for a night out, or even for the day in summer as they are more summery colours and the packaging is so smart. I really like this and I would definitely buy this.

3. Cargo Cosmetic Classic Lip Gloss -  Cargo's new lip gloss formulation! Perfect shades, great wear and high shine without being sticky. Full Size £10.00 GBP.

This is a lovely lipgloss. As glossybox describes it, it's not sticky at all. It's very shimmery and glazy pink, it doesn't give much colour to your lips, but nevertheless it still looks lovely on. I am definitely going to buy a few of these, the quality is really really good, and the colour is gorgeous.

4. Deborah Lippman Razzle Dazzle Mini Nail Varnish With Stripped To Go Sachet - Party glitter nail colour with a sachet of the most amazing polish remover finger nail mitt. Full Size Nail Varnish - £16.00 GBP Stripped To Go Nail Varnish Remover - £14.00 GBP for 6 removers.

If I'm being honest, I haven't yet tried the stripped to go sachet, so a review on that may come later! However I have worn this nail polish everyday for the last week. It's so festive, pinky, reddy, glitter it looks lovely! It's not as bright as it looks inside the bottle however if you put some clear nail polish over the top, it brighten's it up loads. I do love this, I wouldn't pay £16.00 for it, but it's a good mini product to get!

5. Rituals Foaming Shower Gel - This unique foaming shower gel gently cleanses your skin and leaves is silky soft and smooth. Full Size £6.50 GBP.

I have used this a couple of times so far this week, I think it's amazing, I am going shopping next week so I may get another bottle, it's so foamy and it smells amazing! The smell stays on your skin and I got wafts of it throughout the day which I love. It's very silky and makes your skin feel really soft. I think it's a tad expensive, but if you buy it every now and again as a treat, I think it's really good.

Overall this months Glossybox, was my favourite yet. I really did love everything in it, and the red patent box made it even better! I would give this box a 10/10.

I can't wait for the next one!
